Coventry GC seek a Club Manager

Coventry Golf Club is a private members’ club with a first class parkland course on the southern fringe of Coventry. It was the first club in England to be awarded the Golf Environment Organisation (GEO) certification in 2012 and achieved recertification for the second time in 2019. Its vision is to be in the top 100 Golf Clubs in England, providing a high quality, value for money golfing and social experience.

The Club is committed to establishing a “best in class” governance structure, supported by proven policies, systems and procedures and is looking for a full-time Club Manager to play an important role in the implementation of its plans.

This is a new role which provides an exciting opportunity for someone with the necessary drive, operational management skills and experience to contribute to and deliver the vision of the Club.

The primary purpose of the Club Manager’s role is to be the key link between the Board and the day-to-day operations of the Club. The Club Manager must ensure that all decisions, activities and investment meet the vision and achieve the strategic goals set by the Board. In addition, this role is critical in maintaining a welcoming, member focused experience through the core business areas, including the course, bar, catering and events.
