The GCS – Open Championship
The Golf Club Secretary – 24th Open Championship (extended) is open to the Secretaries/Managers of all Clubs subscribing to The Golf Club Secretary and to contributors to the newsletter.
As has been well publicised on social media, at the beginning of June, when some of the Covid19 fog began to clear, we decided to postpone The Golf Club Secretary – 25th Open Championship and the Royal St George’s Final until 2021/22.
We are therefore extending The GCS – 24th Open Championship to include the Regional Qualifying Tournaments set out below, with the Final as previous planned to be played over the inks at Saunton on May 16th/17th 2021.
This will also ensure that those who had already qualified in the autumn of 2019 (ages ago) have a Final to play in.
May we take the opportunity to thank various Clubs for their co-operation and understanding to allow us to continue with the Championship, it is greatly appreciated.
as soon as you have made your BACS payment of the £55 entry fee, you will receive an email of confirmation of your entry.
In the meantime – thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support for The Golf Club Secretary and the Championship.

Full handicap allowance will be given. The results will be determined under the CONGU 2008 guidelines Appendix O for Mixed Golf.
